“Le pulizie lasciavano un po’ a desiderare ma il posto e’ imcantevole”

“The staff were fine”

“The stay was wonderful it was a cottage like experience and enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful view of the ocean and area”

“Very clean and close to beach”

“We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage and property are both beautiful. Eberhard is a wonderful host, everything was clean when we arrived, and we had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely be back!”

“I felt like I was staying at a beloved grandma’s old home frozen in time. All good vibes in this well-worn, loved and lived in home w lots of fun outdoor activities like kayaking (4 provided), fishing (1 functional fishing pole-had to buy own lures), swimming (chilly but refreshing and a daily activity for me!,), exploring the opposite shore of Petit-de-Grat Island.Attended a local music fest and if one of our group wasn’t so sick we would have wandered farther afield to explore more...

“Even better than described. Beautifully decorated & great view on the lake. Very relaxing & private patio. All you need for a great getaway! Nice place to come back to after a long drive to scenic places on either side of Cape Breton. Thanks Alexandra for building such a place. :)”

“Charmante maison tout près d'une plage de galets. Il y a des sentiers de 4-roues à proximité pour se promener sur des falaises et des plages. Communication simple avec l'hôte.”

“A really special spot. It’s remote, but that’s part of what makes it so special.”

“Wonderful cottage on Lake Bras D'Or. The pictures of the property are accurate. There is great privacy at the property and lots of room to spread out and enjoy yourself. The view is absolutely spectacular and we loved option of both a hot tub and a sauna. ”

“Superbe emplacement! Haut de la montagne surplombant le lac. Coucher de soleil WOW ! Pour nous, ce fut un bon emplacement pour visiter l’île du Cap-Breton dans son entièreté (côte est, centre et côte ouest). À noter que l’accès au chalet se fait par un petit chemin abrupte et escarpé en gravel… un bon véhicule AWD est requis.”

“We had an incredible stay at Lazy Bear cottage! The view was absolutely stunning, and the hosts Alexandra and the Mashaghati family thought of everything. The interior was spotless, with charming decor that made the space feel cozy and welcoming. The bed was super comfy, and there were plenty of towels provided for both the hot tub and bathroom. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras like robes and slippers, which added a luxurious touch. After long days of exploring the beauty of...

“This place is perfect for groups of all ages with lots to do, an abundance of beautiful views, gathering spaces and quiet places. The accessibility to the Bras D'Or Lake is wonderful even our 88 yr old father could drive down to the beach area and take in the beauty! The home has many thoughtful games, books and finishing touches to make the place ideal for a gathering. We loved the large table our big family could gather around. The teens loved the pool table and dart board and the seniors...
